Key Features of Xiaomi Smart Camera C701

4K Ultra HD

An 8MP sensor records 3840 × 2160 video through an f/1.6 six-element lens with self-adaptive HDR. Full-colour imaging in low light switches to black-and-white later in the day.

Night Vision

A 940nm infrared fill light gives up to 10 m of night vision (manufacturer figure; actual results vary) with no visible red glow.

On-Device AI

A 1 TOPS AI chip handles crying baby, virtual fence, pet (cats and dogs), human and loud noise detection locally. AI is off by default and enabled in Xiaomi Home. The notification interval defaults to 10 minutes and is adjustable.

Dual-Motor Gimbal

360° horizontal pan and 109° vertical tilt with auto-tracking, timed and fixed-point monitoring. Mount it upright or on a ceiling inverted.

Privacy and Security

The MJA1 security chipset, physical lens shielding (timed, time-specific or manual) and encrypted cloud transmission protect your footage.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6

2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 support stable streaming. Xiaomi cites up to 60% higher speed than Wi-Fi 4 in lab data.

Two-Way Voice and Assistants

Voice calls start from the app, with a large speaker and smart noise-cancelling microphone. Alexa and Google Assistant work with compatible devices.

Storage

microSD 8–256GB (Class 10+, FAT32, sold separately), network storage (sold separately) or paid cloud. Requires Xiaomi Home 10.2 or later.
